In conjunction with the 51st Grammy Awards, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) is presenting a special “Hitmakers” panel discussion featuring Grammy Award-winning songwriters and producers Johntá Austin, Ne-Yo, Manuel Seal and Tricky Stewart.

The event is part of ASCAP’s ongoing series of professional development programs that focus on the music creation process, and will be moderated by Gail Mitchell, Billboard Magazine’s Senior Editor of R&B/Hip Hop.

Commenting on this special event, ASCAP’s SVP Domestic Membership, Randy Grimmett said: “ASCAP’s commitment to the songwriting community is evidenced once again in the high-caliber programming of our “Hitmakers” panel. On the eve of the Grammy Awards, ASCAP’s Rhythm & Soul Team has gathered Johntá Austin, Tricky Stewart, Manuel Seal and Ne-Yo to discuss the art and craft of songwriting and producing. This event is sure to fill quickly and we are honored to be joined by such an esteemed group of ASCAP members.”

The panel discussion is free and open to the public. It takes place on Saturday, February 7th, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA.
